CircleCampus Kft., trading as CircleCampus, is the data controller for personal data we process to provide the learning service at learn.circlecampus.co. This means we decide why and how that data is used. Contact us at support@circlecampus.co about this notice or your data.
What we hold
- Your account email, authentication information, and a display name if you give one, to create and secure your account.
- A record of your purchase: the payment reference, amount, and purchase email, to verify access and maintain transaction records.
- Lesson completion, practice drafts and submitted answers, and any saved legacy recordings, to save your progress and provide your learning history and Playbook.
- Support messages and contact details, to respond to your requests.
- Technical information such as IP address, device/browser information and error logs, to deliver video, troubleshoot problems and protect the service.
- Referral and campaign parameters (for example
refandutm_source) from the link you arrived on, so we can credit the right partner.
Our legal bases
We process account, access, learning and support data to perform our contract with you. We rely on legitimate interests to keep the service secure, investigate errors and fraud, and attribute referrals to the right partner, taking your rights into account. We retain records required by tax, accounting and other applicable laws to meet legal obligations. Where processing requires consent, including any optional marketing or non-essential cookies, we ask first; you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Who processes data for us
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for product sales, subscription management where applicable, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds and payment-related email. Paddle also processes data under its own privacy notice.
- Mux - video hosting and streaming.
- Lovable Cloud - application hosting, database, authentication, and email.
- Professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers, where necessary.
- Authorities or other recipients where disclosure is required by law.
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on applicable safeguards such as an adequacy decision or European Commission standard contractual clauses, with additional safeguards where required. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention and security
We keep account and learning data while needed to provide your access, and support and technical records for as long as needed to resolve requests, protect the service and meet legal obligations. Purchase records are retained for the applicable statutory accounting and tax periods. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, subject to necessary backup retention and legal claims.
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, authentication, access controls and restrictions on access to paid content and personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in and support secure account and checkout functions. Referral and campaign details may also be stored to preserve attribution. You can clear or block storage through your browser settings, although essential functions may stop working.
Optional marketing measurement: only if you accept marketing cookies, we load the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show ads to people who visited our public pages. It receives the public page address (with campaign tags only), your browser and device details, IP address, and whether you viewed the sales page, opened checkout or completed a purchase (product, amount, currency). We do not send names, emails, payment details or anything from inside the course. Meta sets cookies such as _fbp (about 90 days) and _fbc (when you arrive from a Meta ad, about 90 days); Meta processes this data under its own terms and may transfer it outside the EEA. With the same consent we also load the TikTok pixel (TikTok Technology Limited, Ireland) to measure our TikTok ads; it receives the same limited data and sets the _ttp cookie (about 13 months). The legal basis is your consent. Optional choices are off until you choose; you can change or withdraw them at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer, which stops future tracking and removes these cookies from your browser. We do not currently use optional analytics cookies.
Your choices
Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions. Write to support@circlecampus.co; we normally respond within one month, and will explain any legally permitted extension. Deleting your account removes your profile and progress; purchase records are kept where legally required. You may complain to your local supervisory authority, including Hungary’s National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
